What this service does

Is your GameCube not reading discs, spinning but not loading, or showing a black screen after the logo? This is one of the most common issues on aging GameCubes and it's fully fixable.

Disc read errors can come from a few different causes -- failing capacitors, a worn laser, or a dirty drive. We diagnose first to find the exact problem. If the fix goes beyond the capacitors, we'll let you know the updated cost before doing anything.

What happens when you send it in

• Full inspection and diagnosis to confirm the cause of the disc read error
• Replacement of all optical drive capacitors with high quality parts
• Basic cleaning of the board around the work area
• Final testing to confirm the console reads discs and runs stable

What to send

• Console only -- no cables, controllers, or games needed
• Note any specific symptoms in the order notes and we'll look for them during diagnosis
• Drop off in Houston or ship in from anywhere in the US
