Warranty & Coverage

Our promise for quality work and honest repairs

Coverage

  • All repairs and modifications come with a 1-year workmanship warranty
  • This covers issues directly related to the work performed (e.g. solder joints, part installations, wiring)
  • Parts supplied by Replay Revive are covered against manufacturer defects during this period

What’s Not Covered

  • Accidental damage (drops, spills, physical breakage)
  • Wear-and-tear unrelated to the repair (e.g. stick drift after joystick replacement if caused by external damage)
  • Software, data loss, or customer-installed content
  • Issues caused by prior or third-party repairs
  • Console bans from online services (a known risk with any modified system, not caused by the installation itself)
  • Issues arising from software changes made after the console leaves the shop (deleted system files, modified CFW configs, etc.)

Process

  1. Contact us at: support@replayrevive.com
  2. Provide a description of the issue and order details
  3. Ship or drop off the console for inspection

Note: Diagnosis is free under warranty. If the issue is unrelated to our work, standard repair fees may apply.

Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for shipping costs both ways
  • If a repair is covered under warranty, labor and parts are free
  • If a console is deemed unrepairable, return shipping is still required

A Note on Mods & Custom Firmware

  • We install modchips, custom firmware, and related hardware modifications. The installation work itself is covered under warranty like any other repair.

A few things worth knowing before booking:

  • Companies can and do ban consoles from online services. This isn't a hardware issue and isn't caused by an installation itself. It's a consequence of how companies detect modified systems. Console bans are not covered under warranty.
  • If the setups we install include precautions (like 90DNS on emuMMC builds) to reduce online ban risk, don't remove or disable those.
  • We don't support piracy. What you do with your console after it leaves the shop is your call. We won't help with sourcing or installing pirated content.

  • Turnaround time depends on the current queue. (See our Turnaround Time page for current estimates)
  • Every console is treated with care, and we’ll always be upfront about whether a repair is worth pursuing
